My Mission
"Standing for Truth"
As your next House Representative of District 39, I plan to bring a common sense approach to legislation. I'll work to protect our treasured open spaces. I will continue conservation efforts by promoting Farming & Forestry as a way to preserve our rural beauty.
I will work to reduce the smothering state regulations which prevent our business community from prospering, while promoting economic development.
I will oppose all initiatives that shift cost burdens from the state to our towns, and our property taxes. I plan to repeal unlawful legislation that has been passed on day 1 of the next session!
I'll work to preserve local zoning from state overreach. We need less LMI housing and more starter homes for young adults graduating from trade schools, like nurses, firefighters, police, teachers, factory workers and other professionals that have put the time in to help their communities. Now they need starter homes like post WWII that are affordable.
Veterans don't get the respect and dignity that they earned with their service and sacrifice. That must change in this state!!
Our freedoms matter! The 1st & 2nd Amendments are constantly being attacked and villainized. Unlawful over reach of our General Assembly is abborhent. I plan to repeal any legislation that infringe on our rights.
When it comes to our state budget, I would call for zero balance budgeting. All departments would proposes their needs, not their wants. Every dollar needs to be justified. We also need an independent audit to determine where to trim sloppy spending.
Non-profits and government programs need to be held to higher spending standards than they are now. Fraud is in many states. I'm sure it's here in RI as well.
I'm not afraid to ask the hard questions or finally think outside the box!
I plan on doing all this while keeping in line with our constitution, that our founding fathers held so dear.
These are just some of the issues that I look forward to working on with the residents of our beautiful towns in Washington County.

Real Clean Energy
Electricity is so out of control. We have the second highest rates next to Hawaii. We need to bring a 21st century clean power plant approach to Rhode Island. It's proven in other states that this works to reduce the cost of electricity to residents and businesses by up to 50%. Solar and wind are not working for this state. Why haven't your electric bills gone down? Ask my opponent why her party's "Green Deal" isn't proving beneficial to your pockets.

The 2nd Amendment
It's clearly stated "Shall Not Be Infringed".
It's in place to protect the 1st amendment. It's there to protect ourselves, our families and our Liberties!
This is where I stand on the issue.
I will never support legislation that goes against the gun rights of law abiding citizens!
I will push for stricter crime laws. For too long criminals have been in and out of the judicial system, ending with fatal consequences. This needs to stop. We need crime reform not "gun reform" , because you can't reform something that is not the problem and is an inherent right.
These soft target "gun free zones" are making people sitting ducks! People who wish to do harm will always find the means to do so. Disarming a society only creates more victims of crime.
